So, we had an exciting trip home. For those of you who don't live on the East Coast of the US and have also been in a sensory deprivation chamber since Friday, it randomly snowed a lot yesterday. quatredeathlady's party sort of...ground to a halt because of it. The five of us were already there, so there was still a party, just...about a fourth of the size it was

Yeah, my family's got no power, Dad is all pissed because his homemade frozen stock is RUINED!!! and my sister's stoked about not having classes tomorrow. Also your costumes were all rad. <3

My plans: race home to take delivery of my NEW BED, watch Sleepy Hollow, eat all the chocolate. \o/?

My poor alma mater has no power and cancelled classes tomorrow. I feel so bad for all those students.

I had a 'party' at my house tonight, for values of 'party' that equal four other adults, a 5 yr old, and a baby. I baked all last week too, and cooked a roast and some sides today, and was greatly saddened that the maiden voyage of my mini-Pullman loaf pan did not yield perfectly square bread, because it didn't rise enough to hit the lid. It was still tasty, though
