So, the past two days haven't been great, but I'm trying to PROACTIVELY TURN THAT AROUND. I am applying to two new jobs that I am particularly invested in and I'm trying a new tact for the letters I'm sending. It means a lot of tweaking, since I've applied to jobs of this nature before and probably could have gotten away with just sending letters I

If you have any interest in the scholarly publishing industry, there are like 12 job postings up at this conference, and everyone I've talked to is complaining about a horrific lack of intelligent candidates.

Good luck with the job search. <3 I wish I could offer you mine! Except that, well... Then you'd likely want to rip your hair out like I do every day, and... I'm far away? ;)

But seriously, I wish you the best of luck--I hate hate hate job searching (@__@), but I do think sometimes that cover letters make a difference...
