Oh my god, I don't even know how to describe cardigan_verse. Basically, it is the insane brainchild of mcwonthelottery and myself. It started off as a hilarious joke based on "Adam." What does docile, cardigan-clad Owen think when he goes home to obnoxious, STD-laden normal Owen's apartment? What does normal Owen think when he returns and finds his apartment revamped by cardigan-Owen? And then, somewhere along the line, we started discussing what would have to happen to change our Owen into cardigan-Owen without alien interference. And then Ianto was taking care of him as a means of catering to his own masochism and... yes.

There are twitters (that we haven't used in months because we're about six months behind in the timeline), it's a whole thing XD The userinfo for the community has an adequate explanation, I think XD
