IDK when the merchandise started, but Newbury Comics was always FULL of Nightmare Before Christmas stuff when I was 13 or so. It's been way more than five years, anyway.

I have had Nightmare stuff all around my house for many many years. Actually, that's my Halloween movie. Every year on Halloween we play the soundtrack when people come to the door, and we usually have the movie on. It's about our only concession to the holiday.

Oh I love that movie so very much. I've had two Jack Balls (what my family calls antena balls: long story, never mind) that were from Nightmare that got stollen. Hubby has one on his car, but I refuse to buy the new Nightmare one so I have something different...(I don't want it because it's a stupid chibi version of Jack, ug) (but I do have Jack on my license plate frame...)

I love you and your crazy mice-not-filled life. Never change!

(The Nightmare Before Christmas FTW! I have the picture book. :D Also! If you have not seen it yet, Target is having a CRAZY sale on Coraline, also directed by Henry Selick and also deliciously creepy and fun. Get it get it get it get ittttt.)
