when Moriarty was talking about burning out Sherlock's heart, I was just waiting for them to pan to John because THAT'S HIS HEART
Seriously!
And the pajamas! That scene had me full of ♥ for him (and silk jammies, omg, Holmes, would you quit that when I'm supposed to be paying attention to besweatered Watson?). If you're familiar with the Thin Man movies, in one of those Nick Charles is drunk and bored sitting on the couch in his robe, taking potshots at the ornaments on the tree. I don't know quite how a crossover would work, but I'll be thinking about it a lot while I knit Watson's socksI love the banter between them, and I feel like the first episode had it throughout, the second barely at all, and in this one it seemed to sort of drop out once the countdowns really got started
( ... )
YES to every single thing you said! I'm still flailing over the final scene, and Sherlock ripping John's clothes off. Loved him asking John if he was all right three times, despite the evidence in front of him. *g*

But, other than that - it is a pretty good show. They better get their shit together and come back... soon.
