Okay, I know this meme says top five, but, um.... it was hard, okay? I kept forgetting people! And, in my defense, I first saw this on krabapple's LJ and she did like, a million. (Or twelve.)

So here are my top five nine eleven favorite female characters AT THIS PRECISE SECOND

FINALLY someone agrees with me about CJ Cregg! XD I have had DEBATES.

And Rose and Scully and Sarah Jane. <3 And I guess Zoe - but, Kaylee! Adorable! Awesome! DID I SAY ADORABLE? I MEANT ADORABLE.

I love Kaylee too! But I love Zoe a little tiny bit more. JUST A SMIDGE. And I was trying to only do one character from each show. (I am counting Rose as Who and Sarah Jane as SJA. ::shifty eyes::)

But, oh man, welcome to the world of CJ worship! Almost everyone on my flist loves her. SHE IS JUST SO AWESOME, OMG. I want to be her so badly! I mean, I hate her S5-S7 storyline, but even that couldn't make me love her less!

:D I hate everything from S5-S7, and thus have never seen all of the episodes, so I totally relate! XD I should, uh, probably do that, but everything about the MS makes me HORRIBLY SAD and there is nothing light and fun after Sam leaves, basically.

Yeah, there's nothing worth seeing in S5-S7, really. The end of S4 is good! Even without Sam, there are some adorable Will episodes :) Then Aaron Sorkin leaves and there is nothing worth watching. This may, seven years later, still be a sore point with me. ::shifty eyes::

I love them so very much.

I adore Zoe as well, but I can't look at her and not think of Hercules where she (well, the actress not the character) was paired off with the man highest on my list of "People I'd do" (interestingly very physically similar to Wash, so she has a type). Loved her in that, love her in Firefly. Though I have to say, on board the Serenity is a bunch of truly awesome women. I adore all of them.

Abby is also near and dear to my heart.

The rest I don't know (well, ok, I'm skipping one cause there is one that I know, and though I do not HATE her, I do not love her either. This is your list of favorites, and I respect that). If you hadn't written down what they were from, I wouldn't have known. And one of them you didn't. So I don't.

And, oh, Abby! I LOVE HER. I love all of them. ♥

We will agree to disagree on Rose, because... she is clearly my teevee girlfriend XD But which one did you not know? I can at least tell you where she's from :)

I don't know Numbers 4-8, but since your description includes the show (except that you say that both 6 and 7 are from SGA, and I thought you were only doing one woman per show? So I am confused) I think I know what they're from.

But, Number 8? I am clueless.

I think I know about 7 of your honorable mentions, and that's more than half, so I guess that's not too bad.

I was counting Sam Carter as SG-1 and not SGA, since that's where she started. (Even though I totes used a picture of her from SGA. Ssssh! It was already on my harddrive!) See, I am tricksy, but I do follow my own rules XD Sort of.

Number eight is Mary Shannon from In Plain Sight. It's a USA show about the Witness Protection Program. Josh Malina is on it now! It is a totally kickass show and I love it with all my heart ♥

I think I'm going to go back and edit in the names of the books/shows. Just in case people are curious! But yes, 4 is from The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest and 5 is from the Skulduggery Pleasant book series (the latest of which comes out in just a few months and I am having shipped from the UK because I have a problem.) and the others you know :D

I think my LJ tag for that meme (because I do it about twice a year) is actually "to do list." But, oh man, Olivia Benson, what even?

Oh man, Sarah Jane cos would be awesome! And I'm sure people would get it. I was briefly considering cosplaying Sarah Jane at Dragon*Con, but I think it was really just an excuse to buy new boots. And also, I'm lazy. And cheap. I can't talk myself into using my dalek costume again because I don't want to pay to check baggage. Also, I wouldn't be able to sit down all day.

Oh man, Scully. What even! Thinking about how much I still do used to worship her makes me want to join that TXF re-watch community. Also, I think the show would be hysterical now that I'm in my twenties and not, you know, nine.

ROSE! I love Rose too, and I am always so happy to meet other Rose fans who aren't, you know, crazy. I don't understand why everyone hates on her. She makes me so happy ♥
