I have the SAME EMOTIONAL ATTACHMENT to The Boy in the Bubble; in fact I am listening to it right now. In happier times, my mom and I gave that to my dad for his birthday, and I have so many memories of childhood, listening to it on Sunday mornings before insanity took over. So, it's bittersweet.
Also, The Ocean was on my playlist for the scene I did from Mourning Becomes Electra, in which I played a character madly, freely in love with a man who was not her husband, living in a cage of Puritan oppression and denial of true emotion, who winds up killing herself to be free. I sob every time I listen to it because it's the song I connected to her lover-- he was a sailor, and could leave any place he wanted that trapped him. Fucking Eugene O'Neill, why do you kill me...
