I wanna see Katy + the strings aaah

and congrats on the Torchwood fic. Also, on coming out! I think we should all have the right to be free and open about our fangirl orientations.

This is the best sentence ever written on the internet. I have not even seen this movie and I already love it. We clearly need to do some hanging out and ingesting of ridiculous cinema. I'm sure I have a terribly AWESOME movie or something that you haven't seen.

where Jack is out of town and Gwen and Ianto have to solve a case on their own and they're like detectives, but with aliens and have to keep answering Jack's nervous calls by lying about what they're doing. I want Ianto to wear a fedora. And Gwen to wear a hot dress.

You must write this! I will harass you and poke you and be a general nuisance until you do. Alternately, I'll turn on the puppy dog eyes and stick out my lower lip while begging like a tenacious, determined three year old. And then I'll bake you cake and make it look like whatever you want it to be. Just so you'll write this fic.

Gwen+Ianto=bestfriendshipEVER, and you write it so so well. *loves*

What's that you say? There was more to your post than Gwen+Ianto? *goes to look, can't get past Gwen+Ianto* Sorry, didn't see anything. Must be a glitch in the system.

(also, your father is adorable and I would like to smish him)

Oh man, I'd write it just for the cake. But I kind of want to write it just because. I love the idea of Gwen and Ianto kicking ass and trying to hide it from Jack because it's the first time he's been away from them since "Exit Wounds" and he keeps worrying and it's driving them frigging nuts, so they can't give him any more reason to fret. Like, the two of them locked in a closet together, hiding from an alien intent on killing them, and Jack calls from the UNIT conference Ianto is making him attend and they have to act like they're just hanging out in the Hub being bored, while not alerting the alien to their presence and...

Yes. Clearly I watch a lot of spaceship shows AND a lot of dead body shows and sometimes want to mix them together.

God, your parents are AWESOME. Please tell them I say hi! If they remember who I am, that is :D

I'm so excited for you that your TW fic is getting good feedback! And from strangers! I haven't tried to read it mostly because I think I'd be very confused. I've seen maybe 30 seconds of that show?

Have fun at Katy's show! Music that is a religious experience is something I definitely envy you.

Haha, I'm sure my mom remembers who you are. My dad, on the other hand, can barely remember who moonsheen is and I lived with her for three years so... yes. He means no offense by it, he just can't remember crap XD

You probably would be confused by the TW fic, mostly because it relies very, very heavily on canon. It's framed by specific episodes and refers back to them and assumes the reader knows what happens during them so... yes. The next one (oh god the next one. I guess I am for-real in Torchwood fandom now) will probably be more stand-alone.

(I also don't recommend TW on the whole? Um. It's not very good. At all. I might go so far to say it's crap? I ADORE Doctor Who and would recommend that to anyone [well, you know, within reason. If they hate time travel and also British people, it would probably be a bad choice], but TW is... um. Well. They're all very pretty. So there's that.)

Oh man, Katy has an awesome voice. And now I'm wondering if I'll have the 13th off...

Also, your dad wins at life.

If you do I would 500% recommend heading to the show. It's free! (Sort of. There's a one drink minimum. But the drinks aren't expensive and getting in is still free!) And her shows are just filled with so much energy and excitement and awesomeness... oh man. I've been following her for about eight years now (oh my GOD) and I have never been disappointed by a show :D

I am A-OK with buying drinks. Now that I've listened to more songs on her website, I will be really disappointed if I have to work. I need more concerts in my life, especially inexpensive indie ones.

(Likewise, you are more than welcome to NOT join us. We won't be offended XD)
