I am sitting here, clearing off my DVR, watching what is probably the best episode of Without a Trace that has ever existed. There are lesbians, bowling jokes, New Jersey mobsters, Danny going crazy doing menial office work, and now Danny and Jack are singing. Um, seriously, does this really exist, or have I fallen asleep and hallucinated the last ( Read more... )

I like, just started getting into WaT (seriously, how did I miss this show for so long?) and after watching that episode after it was on TNT I ... there were just no words.

Oh and it ends with Jack putting on the tie, but wearing it outside his jacket like a scarf. And then he and Danny walk out of the bowling alley and the show ended by not just fading to black, but closing in a circle behind Jack.

Also, Masi Oka? Hilarious. Along with everything else in the episode. "I'm not a drunk!"

Oh my god, it's incredible! I want to watch it again and again! I seriously don't know how I missed it the first time around!

"I've never been a lesbian before."
"I've never been a lesbian either. Well, I did have this dream once. It's a different subject, but look, I can't help you, okay?"

"You're fifteen miles from your apartment! You're the worst agorophobic in history!"

Also Danny and Jack's rock-paper-scissors. "You're so predictable!"

i'm working the midnight party too, which would be fine (i'm scheduled 6pm-1am) if they didn't have me working at 9 AM the next day.
le sigh.

Hahaha, yeah, I don't know about the rest of the store, but my boss has a pretty strict "closers don't open the next day" policy. Which probably means that she'll be the last one to leave at night and the one to open on Saturday morning. I am not looking forward to taking over that aspect of her job.

I haven't gotten that far yet! I'm still mid Season 3. I just watched Danny and Martin stumble into a whorehouse.

Oh my god, I forgot to mention this in the comment I just left you, but you also have Danny in casual clothing riding a dirt bike in pursuit of criminals. I actually did remember that episode from when I first saw it, but I didn't have an overwhelming crush on Danny at the time, so it left a very different impression XD

And yes! "Window of Opportunity" the SG-1 episode! I actually have it on my harddrive, too, but I love it so much I had to save it twice. WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE?

It's kind of amazing how different a show looks, once you actually know who these people are!

I adore "Window of Opportunity". I don't have it on my harddrive, but that's because I own the DVDs. You just KNOW that Jack used one of those timeloops to have sex with Daniel, and another loop to assassinate Senator Kinsey. JUST BECAUSE HE COULD.

ISN'T IT? If I can find a relationship like this, I am pretty sure my life will be perfect. Batshit crazy, probably infuriating, and off-the-wall, but perfect.
