Re: WaT: It's funny--like I said, this is a show that I've watched casually for YEARS, but I've never put any fannish investment into. Once scrollgirl got into it, I started paying a little more attention to the reruns that are on every day and now I'm trying to rewatch as much as I can from a "character development" perspective and it's just... kind of hilarious. Especially because even as I'm watching it specifically with the intention of being fannish, I still can't ship anyone. I've read a fuckton of Danny/Martin fic, but when I'm watching the show it's like the fannish part of my brain switches off

It's not fan patheticness. I don't see how anybody could see that baby and NOT want to spend hours upon hours playing with him! With the cheeks and the eyes and the smile and the... well he's about the most adorablest thing to ever adorable!
