Mirek is a catty, catty bitch when he wants to be. His insults and angry, cutting remarks are also very calculated. When he wants to piss off Gideon (or Valentine or Crystal or Jane or whoever) he specifically says whatever's on his mind in English

Hahaha, of course I care! And on a larger scale, the inner processes of how bilingual people choose to express themselves --whether there's a *conscious* choice to use one language or another. Yes, wow, that's nerdy.

Yay for fic recs! Also I read that fic about the junk shop -- SO HILARIOUS! I don't understand how this fandom stands itself sometimes. It should explode from the awesome ridiculouness! :D

I have very little knowledge of how bilingual people think at all, to be honest. (Or, well multi-lingual, I guess, in Mirek's case.) I always end up creating characters who are good at things that I do not understand XD But yeah, he definitely is very calculated with that when he's angry at someone and wants to hurt them. He's even tempered like, 98% of the time, but when he's pissed he's a BITCH.

Oh gosh, I love that story so much. What I think is hilarious is that the part that I professed was my favorite thing ever when I first read it is no longer my favorite part. It changes every time XD
