four-thirty musings as i try to beat this story into submission
Mirek is a catty, catty bitch when he wants to be. His insults and angry, cutting remarks are also very calculated. When he wants to piss off Gideon (or Valentine or Crystal or Jane or whoever) he specifically says whatever's on his mind in English.
I wonder if he even notices he's doing it? I know that I just realized it now; as I was writing this argument, everything just slotted into place.
Anyway, absolutely no one cares about this except for me. And, hm, maybe inocciduous.
Tomorrow I'm going to rec all the fic I've been re-reading. Three or four or so stories in two fandoms that reminded me how hilarious life is, specifically a life that involves John Sheppard owning a junk shop and reading a children's book called I Want To Be a Homemaker.
