Whenever I get around to watching SGA, I only watch SGA for Rodney. He's so damn cute. ♥

Rodney McKay makes me question my sexuality. Not David Hewlett--Rodney McKay. Go figure.

The Air Force thing doesn't surprise me. The Army and the Marines like to advertise in the back of comic books all the time. I think it's pretty deplorable, honestly. "You like when people blow things up? Come work for us! It'll be just like the comics, we promise!"

I don't consider myself anti-military, but those are not the recruitment techniques they should be using.

I mostly find it amusing in this context because the Stargate shows are actually about the Air Force and the specific commercial they are showing is for the Air Force space program. I feel like they're like, "Hey, you're watching a show about the Air Force in space! You can join the Air Force! We do space things! It's awesome! Just like the show! Only not!"

Man, these commercials are totally what brainwashed John into joining the Air Force when his dad wanted him to go to business school and be a heterosexual.

Wait, did this actually happen? Because this -- this I want to see right now. YES.

TMOLM? Plz to explicate?

I wish it actually happened D: After this week's episode, what I really want is for Colbert to invite "McKay" onto his show to explain why he dissed him like that. It would be a perfect opportunity to kill time until the writers get back. Also, I might stroke out while watching it.

See? Stupid Rent has brainwashed me into thinking that everyone knows their stupid acronyms. TMOLM = "Take Me or Leave Me," a song in Rent that two disgruntled lesbian lovers sing to each other in the second act.

The Greatest Interview. EVER.

Oh, Rodney. In yet another example of How SGA Has Eaten My Brain, sometimes in one of my classes where there's the egotistical JERK, I try to think that, hey, if I met Rodney, would I think he was an egotistical JERK, too? And I sort of think, yeah, probably at first, but he's also REALLY THAT SMART (and not just a posturing idiot), and a little squishy in the tummy, and he's got those broad shoulders, and as much as he rants about idiots there are people he totally respects like John and Elizabeth and Teyla and Ronon and Zelenka (though he might try to deny that last one) and he's actually really brave, and see, then I'm totally thinking about how awesome Rodney is and not about whatever dumbass/smartass remark some guy has just made.

Okay, so maybe I'm bitter. But mostly: RODNEY IS AWESOME.

Colbert inviting "McKay" onto the show to apologize for dissing him on national teevee like that would be the PERFECT way to kill time with the writers still gone. And I would stroke out from the awesomeness.

Rodney is totally an asshole, and my brain really wants me to acknowledge that, but my reproductive organs refuse to. There were SO MANY TIMES in this week's episode that I knew I should smack him for being a dick, but instead I just wanted to jump on top of him for being all dirty and shoulder-y and stuff.

I think the thing is that, even though Rodney is an ass to everyone, I kind of let it slide because I don't think he realizes how much of an ass he's being sometimes? In his eyes, if people were smarter, they totally wouldn't have to deal with his crap, so maybe they should just get smarter. Then he'd yell at them less, and everyone would be happy.

I'm super tired and looking back, most of that made no sense, so I will end with this: No one with eyelashes as pretty as his could be hate-able.
