OH MAN I'M GLAD YOU LOVE IT XD

I really want to work on it MORE now (which is crazy because I haven't touched it in months) but I have my stupid yuletide fic to work on insteeeeaaaaad. POUT.

I knew I wanted Charlie on Will's gate team but it took me FOREVER to come up with who the other person was. It was Kate, briefly, but I liked her manning her own better. (Kate is Sam's best girlfriend. I am completely unable to write gay characters without giving them a best girlfriend. Perhaps this is a stereotype, but I have been surrounded my gay men my entire life and they have always had a best girlfriend or two.) Then CJ was there, but I didn't like that either, and Josh hates going off-world and I needed Donna for the Josh subplot and then I thought "AINSLEY" and it was perfection.

AND THANK YOU FOR THE REC ON YOUR JOURNAL. I am all flustered because this is very clearly unfinished and draft-y. ♥

Oh man, I definitely meant that Kate was Will's best girlfriend. I tend to make Donna Sam's best girlfriend because I feel like they bonded over their mutual love for Josh. OH JOSH-INSPIRED ANGST.

No need to edit to warn people, it just caught me off guard is all XD I think I did a fair job of making it clear it was a draft in the beginning of the post. Gosh, I really want to write more now. Because Josh is SO CRAZY and he gets into a fist-fight with Rodney and is WHOOPED by Rodney because he totally underestimates him. GOOD TIMES.

You know, I looked at this and was like...There is no way this can possibly work. Like, ever. AND THEN IT DOES IN A TOTALLY CRACKED OUT WAY. OH MY GOD.

It's such utter crack and I have been RESISTING but then lurkmuch had to go and actually ASK FOR IT. ::flails:: I can't help it!

But, oh man, can you just imagine the sort of shit that they would get into in Pegasus? And Leo and Hammond (or Landry, whatev) bonding? Also, Josh and Rodney get into a fist fight (Josh loses) and Kate has her own gate team. IT'S AMAZING.
