In which his mom is some kind of scientific supergenius who Rodney had wet dreams about as a child. And she's totally hot, despite being old. And John secretly hates her

There was a fic like that once, I am almost certain. I mean, that's pretty much par for the course in SGA fandom. By this point, there's always been a fic like that once.

Also there's another fic kind of like that. Except not quite. Um. It's AU and mostly based on Earth and John's mom was a major scientist and Rodney's dad was a bigshot in the Air Force, and. Er. It's once of cesperanza's.

I'm totally sticking it to the man. Or the woman, in this case.

I figure that after three years there's a lot of "there's a fic like that!" that already exists in this fandom XD Alex and I just have crazy, crazy crack-addled minds. And enjoy making things up and deciding that they're randomly canon. (I used to do this in the HP fandom on a regular basis. "Remus is a lush. It's canon!" And then it really was canon in book six!) Like the fact that Sheppard married a hippie named MoonFlower when he was eighteen. That's totally canon.

Wow, I can't remember what the point of this comment was when I started typing it ten minutes ago. Stupid boring office job that distracts me from fandom...
