So, eldarwannabe and I were throwing this idea around a few months ago, and now I am GAUGING INTEREST.

eta: FOR THE RECORD: By "gen" I mean "the focus is NOT on a romance." The story can, of course, contain mentions of canon pairings and such, but it shouldn't be the main point. For instance, a fic about Jack and Ianto falling in love? Nope. A fic about Jack ( Read more... )

"Ianto!" Gwen's voice rang out in their new office space, which had strange echoes, as if it hadn't taken Ianto long enough to adjust to the fact that they were coming to America in the first place. "Come and see!"

"Coming!" he called back, setting down the file he held and squaring it up with the edge of the desk. Honestly, the shipping company had done a terrible job, but at least he was around to put things in order. He wandered through the maze of corridors until he found Gwen, who was standing with Rhys, both of them gazing at something she held in her arms.

"Isn't he adorable?" Gwen asked, looking up and beaming.

"Rhys?" Ianto asked, taken aback. "He's all right. Gwen, I'm not really comfortable with..."

"The cat, idiot!" Gwen told him. "The adorable kitten that I am holding, right now, in my arms. The cat. Not Rhys. I'm quite convinced of his adorableness already, thank you ( ... )
