Butterfly, butterfly

I seem to have been having a thing for butterflies lately... Recently read a play in class called M. Butterfly and then I just finished watching the movie The Butterfly Effect. Loved both. I thought both were works of genius (though both had some controversial themes).

You definitely should watch the director's cut. At least the cut parts anyway, if not the whole movie. I watched both the cuts and the theater ending and I definitely have to say that the cut version's better. Your friend's right about the "too much obligatory happy ending." Though I suppose it's not *too* bad. Just not as satisfying when you know there's a better alternative. :P
