Finally got around to watching Super Size Me. Good movie. Learned a lot of different stuff in it. I think one of the things that struck me the most was how extreme some people's diets can be. I'm a movie-goer, especially as of late, so I'm a bit interested to see which movies will actually get the Oscars this year. For new movies, I've recently watched (from what I can remember) Click, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Dead Man's Chest, Children of Men, Pan's Labyrinth, Letters from Iwo Jima, and Babel.

Watched yet another movie today. Been watching a lot of movies lately. This time, I watched Babel due to recommendations from friends.

I just watched Children of Men today and... God, it's one good movie! Although the story's quite different, it reminded me a lot of Crash, which was another movie I loved. Maybe it's the way both movies handled the subject--straightforward and to the point. They don't try euphanize the situations, but rather pretty realistically, which is more ( Read more... )

I seem to have been having a thing for butterflies lately... Recently read a play in class called M. Butterfly and then I just finished watching the movie The Butterfly Effect. Loved both. I thought both were works of genius (though both had some controversial themes).
