Mara had also taken this "cure" and while it certainly diminished her ability to touch the force, it was nothing like being around a Yslirami, and she had clamped down her shields as soon as she was able to do so. When that was done, she had stood up, and made her way to her room, needing to have a few moments alone to collect herself.

Somewhere along the way, she had unbuttoned her crew jacket a few buttons, leaving a slow dip down her front, (cleavage was bursting forth now, instead of being so conservative) and her pants had slid down an inch or so. How that had happened in her pants, she didn't know, as they were already tight enough to begin with. Well, she did like them that way, after all. Even if it was synthetic leather, she wouldn't lie that she preferred the tight material, even if it did look just a bit slinky ( ... )

It was lucky that his glasses were reinforced as it was, strong enough to withstand his heat vision ordinarily. They weren't cracked from being flung from his face earlier, or even scuffed. Overall, he felt much better than he had a short while ago. In fact, better altogether. It was nice to not have to tune out the sound of everything, or worry about breaking another door down with his knocking.

He smiled when she opened the door, although it faltered a little nervously under the intensity of her gaze. "Hi, are you ah, doing any better? Did you hit your head? Er... bleeding anywhere?"

She didn't look hurt, she looked completely fine, if not slightly disheveled. Her shirt was unbuttoned rather lowly, and he looked pointedly away, clearing his throat a little and playing with his own collar, trying to be tactful but not outright about letting her know about it.

Mara looked Clark up and down, her gaze smoldering as she looked him up and down. He looked like he hadn't experienced a thing, and if she were in better conditions mentally, she might have questioned that, as it were, she was a little preoccupied with other thoughts.

She closed in on him, looking up slightly from her lowered lashes at Clark, pursing her lips into a slight pout. "Well," she said, lifting a finger to her lips in thought. "I'm feeling much better mentally, but there's something wrong...physically," she said coyly, trying to use her eyes to convey what she meant to Clark.

Clark may have been naive, but he wasn't stupid. Mara may as well have had heat vision herself from the intensity of the looks she gave him. He pushed his glasses on by the corners of the frames, clearing his throat again and attempting a smile.

He was probably jumping to conclusions. This was Mara, after all.

"Physically? Uh--do you want me to come in and have a look?" He asked, pointedly not stammering, "Or I can help you to the infirmary..."

Mara laughed softly, the sound low and throaty. "Oh yes, Clark," she said softly, taking a small step backwards into the room. "Why don't you come in and take a look at it," she asked softly, her eyes framed by dark lashes.

"I mean, it might catch your attention," she said with a slow roll of her shoulders, before turning slowly to enter into the large room,a hint of her skin peeking out from above her pants, which were slung much lower than they usually were.
