hey, i saw something somewhere about getting rid of old electronics...
was it FB, here, NOW? can't remember, but we have some stuff that needs to go away, that doesn't work (drill, scanner, computer) and we'd rather it not go to a dump..where can it go??

I don't think any of the organizations will take stuff that's not working, though. You might have more luck putting it in the free section on craigslist, maybe someone handy will want some of it...

kettunainen mentioned it in this post - there's going to be an electronics recycling drop-off at the Strawberries & Asparagus Festival in Cedarvale Park this Saturday, hosted by iRecycle.

Kettu and optimystik and I will probably be going, and possibly some other folks - feel like joining us? There's a lot of other cool stuff happening at that festival as well...
