I have 18 new icons and this makes me happy.

My fingers and toes are painted 'marine scene' and I look like a tacky twelve-year-old and this also makes me happy.

Next Friday at 2:30 I have an appointment to cut off all my hair and this does, indeed, make me happy.

I didn't do anything productive today, which makes me unhappy.

But I read a FANTASTIC fic

If it helps any, I know somebody like this. OK, he's an aneisthatist (sp?) from Poland, but the camera thing is very similar. He's the bane of the cinema, 'cos every time he goes in he has the same argument that he wants to take his camera into the screen, and every time we used to have to re-read him the riot act and confiscate it till the end of the movie. He's very passionate, but he's lost a couple of friends through what I like to call unethical photography. If he's shooting people, he'll take pictures of them whether they like it or not. There's one where he's about to get clobbered by a Polish tramp who doesn't want his picture taken.

Not sure if it helps, but I think there's a certain mentality to people who insist on having a camera at all times. I'm a photographer myself, but I always put seeing first. I would rather stand atop a mountain and enjoy the gorgeous view and try to remember it, than to take a dozen pictures of it to say I've been there. But then, I record my life in words. I suppose it's just another

Well, you have one more happy than unhappy, so I think that adds up to a pretty happy day =pp
