[This is relevant to his interests.]

My "wife" is one of the finest journalists in my universe, Lois Lane. The other one's around town- his name's Clark.

As for me, I'm Hal and I'm interested. I'll make sure Lois gets back to you but I'd like to hear you out. What are you thinking?

I'm Roxanne Ritchi- glad to 'meet' you. I know Sarah Jane worked in the business, but I'd love to meet Lois and Clark.

And I'm thinking that we need a way for people to learn things, to have a-- way for it to fit within the town, if that makes sense?

I mean, there's this pamphlet but there's not a lot else that I've seen, and the periodicals I'm collecting... well, they're period-safe, that's for sure. Nothing 'real' here.

Good to meet you too, Roxanne.

If I recall correctly, the original creator of the pamphlets threw a fit and stopped updating them. No one's really stepped in to fill his shoes in the meantime.

It's definitely a need that must be addressed.

Really? Any given reason? And do you know their name?

The need is definitely there, and getting worse.

You don't say.

Yeah, I'm collecting periodicals and news-- I think we need to get something going, something to--educate, warn, anything.

Because nobody told me that Mayfield could bomb itself at will, kill us, and bring us back to life. I really think that knowing that ahead of time might've been helpful.

We need one that is actually informative. A lot of what just happened was a recent development, but it will be important for future reference.

I agree. The more people who know information, the better off we'll be. Especially with the town having it's-- will known.

[It can't drone EVERYONE, can it?]

Well, seeing people just soak up information - however vague or misinterpreted it is - is a plus in Diana's book. Yet, she knows that Mayfield likes to sugarcoat things to make it as if you really want to live here your entire life.

And that is something she certainly does not want to do. So, Diana approaches Roxanne over where the newspapers are and clears her throat in a polite manner to get her attention.

"Excuse me, but I couldn't help but notice what you're doing. Could I be of any assistance, perhaps?"

Who knows, perhaps Roxanne could be a valuable ally to her.

Roxanne straightens up, blinking at Diana; she doesn't recognize her, but offers her a little smile.

"Just-- keeping up on current events," she says, still uncertain of who to trust and who she can't. But Diana doesn't come off like a drone, so...

Diana nods to Roxanne, her own expression tight-lipped and business-like. She wasn't feeling all too friendly due to what recently happened, but at least she's sort of learning to let things go.

"Mm, well - Mayfield has a way to make you think that there's nothing on the outside world you need to concern yourself with. They want you to think that Mayfield is all you need and that's that. So, I'd... try to do something else," she states, hoping that was enough to convince Roxanne that she wasn't a drone.

"...ah," she said, straightening. Yes, Diana's not a drone. Roxanne relaxes in inches, still not entirely comfortable -- but this was better than a drone.

Besides, Roxanne tended to see the best in everyone... Mayfield just made that a little stressful, was all.

"It's still good to know how they write, how they present their-- non-information," she says. "That's what I'm looking at."
