Artist Note: These days business at the highest reaches is still mostly a Good Ol' Boys Club, but more and more female CEO's are being seen and as you go down through the teirs of status more and more women are getting into the game and making a big impression. We women may have to work twice as hard to get respect, but then that respect is something we appreciate far more than the guy who never had to fight for it. Success in this realm in then is defined by that bottom line and more and more women meet and exceed that mark.

A few months ago NBC Nightly News ran a report about the effect that younger (mid-twenties to early forties) African American women are having on ecconomics. They found that the women were starting more small to mid sized businesses and seeing far more success than their male counter parts. The fact that it wasn't on just the cable side or the local news was telling. It's a large enough trend that a national core channel news broadcast made time for it.

So progress is being made.
