I think that story's an April Fool's prank. Although after exploding tumors, I wouldn't put it past them. :D

LOL! Look at the bottom of the page. It says: "© April Fools Committee of 2007"

I figured as much when I read that Kevin Sorbo would play a guy who opens a coffee shop on Atlantis.

I nearly fell for it. I was just starting to freak out and become totally outraged when I saw what the date was for this late-breaking spoiler. Then I scrolled down to the bottom of the page and heaved a huge sigh of relief when I saw the "April Fools Committee" signature.

It was a great prank, but I have to agree with you: it does sound like something straight out of fanfic! *g*
