It's been a while since I updated. No specially good reason, I've been reasonably busy but not so busy I couldn't've written somethingLast Wednesday we went to Reading for a concert - it billed itself as the Reading Homecoming Festival, which was quite a posh name to slap on a bunch of bands playing in a small club in the middle of Reading ;) ( Read more... )

Windows can be persuaded to do focus follows mouse and/or autoraise using xmouse/tweakui from powertools... (I don't like either myself, but focus-follows-mouse was the only way I could ever get it to let me type into a window that wasn't on top).

That's useful to know, I should try & set it up sometime (when I get round to it) as I frequently find in Windows that I bat the mouse across to another window & wonder why it doesn't pop to the top a moment later ;)
