Pam whipped around and dropped into a defensive stance when she heard someone burst in through the lobby doors behind her, but relaxed when she saw who it was.

"Eric!" she exclaimed, extremely relieved to see her maker. "Sheriff, what is going on here?" she asked, her use of his title indicative of just how off kilter she was by the whole situation.

Pam followed without question and listened silently as he explained what he knew. She was unsurprised to hear that great magic was involved, but the fact that there were people from alternate universes was unexpected, but not uninteresting.

"Yes," she replied, the disdain think in her tone as she pulled a bit dirt and twig out of her hair. "I did notice that I seem to have human traits. At least I seem fully recovered, I would not want to heal at a human rate."

"You are well?" she asked, wanting to make sure that he too had recovered from their ordeal at Rhodes.

Pam crossed over to the desk and peered over Eric's shoulder. "Yes, useful," she echoed, unable to resist thinking of all the other things that would be more useful in this place. Namely a way home.

For lack of anything else to do she pulled open the desk drawers and pulled her pink Blackberry out of the top drawer. Turning it on, she quickly saw she had no service, not that she was really expecting one.

"Why go to the trouble of bringing these things here for us if they have no use?" she asked speaking of both her phone which was no more than a paper weight, and her coffin, which hopefully she wouldn't be needing in its original capacity since she had the feeling that if she died here, she would not be waking up at sunset.

Pam was going to reply when her stomach growled so loudly it surprised her. She glanced down at her stomach and then back up at Eric. "I would take that as a yes."

Slipping on a pair of penny loafers, she slipped her key into her pocket and waited for Eric to lead the way. "The rooms move?" The more she learned the more impossible the situation seemed. "Have you ever seen magic such as this?" she asked. She certainly hadn't but Eric had 900 years on her.

Pam was proud but unsurprised to hear she had done well defending Fangtasia, and any night she took out a few enemies was a good night in her book. But going to war with the fairies? That was unexpected. She had heard many stories of the Vampire/Fairy Wars that occurred long before her turning, but she had never had the pleasure personally. Well not yet apparently. She was going to ask more about that, and soon, but first she had to take the opportunity when she saw it.

"You finally remember your sojourn as not you," she confirmed with one raised brow, wholly amused at the memory of Eric acting so unlike himself. "That must be a relief, I know how it bothered you so."

"Well, for what it's worth, I thought you were adorable when you had no idea who you were," she said tossing him a wide grin before striding over to the buffet table.

She wandered down the tables taking everything in, only pausing when she reached the desert table. She stopped directly in front of a large Jell-O mold and didn't say anything for a long while.

"What is this?" she finally asked over her shoulder, but not turning around as she continued to stare at the gelatin dessert. "Why is it green? And what is that floating in it?" She reached out and poked it was an accusatory finger. "It wiggles," she announced, crouching down to get a better look at it. "Why does wiggle? I don't like that it wiggles. I do not wish to eat this."

Eric had raised her to be a strong self sufficient vampire, but it was nice to know that even though they were now both human, so he couldn't technically be her Maker, he wasn't about to abandon his role as such. Not that she expected he would, although lesser vampires might. It was why Eric was such a good Master, why she came without complaint when he Called her from Minnesota to help him run Fangtasia, and why so many other vampires chose to settle in Area 5. He took care of his own.

"No matter the hour, no matter the reason," she repeated speculatively, stroking her chin with a devilsh glint in her eye, as if thinking of all the ways she could annoy Eric at all hours of the day and night, even though they both knew she would do no such thing.

Well... unless she was really really bored.

"If what you say is true, then there is no online shopping. So an excellent pair of pumps is not something to be taken lightly in this place," Pam retorted in her defense in his hypothetical scenario, rising and pushing in her own chair when Eric did. She did not concern herself with what would happen to her used place setting, she didn't care if she was human now. Pam did not bus her own dishes.
