Who: Elphaba Thropp and Giselle Where: Music Room When: After Elphie meets Jack in the infirmary What: Two fairy tale people find each other in the music room.
Giselle walked down the hall looking for something to eat. Seems like that's all she ever did here. Walk the halls and eat. She giggled at her joke, and added a little jaunt to her step. She stopped as her ears picked something up. Oh ! Was that music? She smiled, It was! She hurried toward the sound and opened a door she thought it as behind. That was a closet. She hurriedly shut the door, admonishing the hotel. "Oooh! I don't like it when you do that!"
She heard the music again, this time behind her. She smiled, she could see the open door to the room, and quickly moved toward it before the hotel had other ideas. She stood in the doorway of the music room as smiled. She saw a woman at a piano and moved toward her. She hesitated for a moment. Was she ... green? Her eyes widened, could the woman be from a painted world like herself? Wouldn't that be wonderful?
Giselle smiled, "Oh! No." She laughed, "I heard your playing, so I came to see." She tried very hard to not stare, but she'd never seen anyone with skin that color before. But it would be terribly rude of her to say anything. So she carefully looked at the piano to watch how the woman's hands move. "Do you know any Andalasian songs?"
"Oz is bright and colorful too, but you talk of this like it's something different. I mean, you're very bright and colorful right now..."
Elphie looked from the girl to her own dress. She was wearing the navy blue one. Ford didn't like it so much, but it was Elphie's favorite. "Your dress... is bright and colorful. And you're hair is a..." she stopped herself before she made a comment about the girl's hair. "Well, it's really bright. Are things more bright and colorful in Andalasia?"
((OOC Sorry, I looked over this today while doing some mild maintenance on all my character journals and realized the original comment didn't make much sense.))
Giselle looked to her dress, "Oh, do you like it? I made it from one of Mister Grissom's shirts when I was small." She laughed, "He said I could have all his silly shirts, but I liked this pattern the best." It was an old tropical shirt with palm trees and surfboards on it. Bright would certainly describe it.
"Oh, things are very bright! Andalasia is like a painting come to life." Giselle said, pointing to a picture on the wall. "only much brighter than that." She'd realized she pointed to a rather gloomy painting.
((OOC: Sorry, I have been hugely busy with Landcomm projects and haven't had a chance to do a lit of RP this month))
Elphie looked at the painting. "A painting come to life. That is... not like Oz in the slightest." Her fingers started playing with the keys again, but she was still talking. "I had a really colorful dress once. But the hotel stole it. It was all different colors swirled together."
Then, because the girl did sing, she asked a rather random question: "Do you like to dance?"
Giselle brightened, "I can make you a colorful dress if you like! I sew very quickly." She looked around the room. The curtains were not that bright in here. Perhaps she'd use the ones in her room. They were lovely.
Her attention moved back to the green woman, "I love to dance."

"Oh, hello! You play beautifully!"

"Thank you," she replied with a wary smile. "Am I taking up your time in the room?"

She shook her head at the woman't question. "Sorry. I was playing an Ozian jig just now. Haven't heard of Andalasia though."
