The Morning After
Who: Ford and Elphie
When: The morning after their night together.
Where: Ford's room, to start.
What: Ford and Elphie wake up.
Ford woke slowly. He was groggy. There was some lingering soreness in his head from the previous evening's hypervodka. There was some lingering soreness in the rest of his body from the previous evening's other activities.
He moved a leg and it bumped into something warm and a little bit soft.
Oh right. Those other activities were then followed by sleep. They tended to be, right? It had been a while.
He glanced around as much as he could without moving too much. Was he afraid of waking her or did his head just protest too much?
He needed a glass of water. And a very large bowl of peanuts.
