Kaylee grabbed Dean's wrist again, this time not out of comfort, but to steel herself at the revelation about Dukat. She was no innocent, and while she had never personally killed anybody, she was part of a crew that had many times over, and was at peace with that. But being responsible for the death of billions? Swallowing hard she forced a smile to her face. "It sure is a teddy bear," she confirmed.

"An' sure thing Doctor," she answered, her smile relaxing into something a little more natural. "I could definitly set some anchors for you and any other metal work ya'll need done."

"A life of risk and excitement," Garak said, his look at Dean a little more appraising. "Maybe I'll have some questions for you, too."

He pressed at his stomach lightly. "I could eat something. I don't think it's late yet. It's a good thing the food presented here never seems based on what time we choose to eat it."

"I guess I should let you guys go eat." Dean said, seeing that they were considering food. "I'm gonna go find Kaylee. We've got all these wrecks to clear."

Nodding, the Doctor then smiled at Dean. "Well, if you're sure you don't want anything?" He replied, hesitating for a moment, in case he changed his mind. "Move stuff you want keeping an eye on closer to the TARDIS if you can, I'm usually around here somewhere."

"Ready?" He asked, raising his eyebrows at Garak. "Lead on, McDuff, time for tea."

"My stomach and I thank you for the invitation," Garak said with a pleased smile. "It was a pleasure meeting you, Dean. Please tell the young lady I said the same for her, would you?"

He paused then and looked back at the Doctor. "If you don't mind, I'd like to deposit the fabric and sketches at the TARDIS. You can go through them later at your leisure and make any notes you'd like."

Dean nodded a bit at the doctor's offer. It was a generous one that...given a bit more time to know the guy, he might take up. "I think I'm going to stick around a minute and check up on Kaylee...Maybe we'll run into each other later." He tipped his head in the Cardassian's direction to excuse himself from their conversation.

The hunter picked up his salvaged bit of radio and gave them both a slight wave before walking in the direction Kaylee had gone.

The Doctor watched Dean briefly as he left, then turned back to Garak. "Good idea," he said nodding in agreement, then pushing open the door to the TARDIS and stepped back. "Just put them on top of the blankets and then I'll lock up."

(OOC: Is is okay if we end with Garak and Nine walking off to get food?)

Garak nodded and did as instructed. When he had everything neatly placed, he exited the small space and stood aside to let the man lock up. "Lead the way," he said with a jaunty gesture, always cheerful at the prospect of food.

(OOC: That's fine!)

"Well, I'll try, but you know what this place is like!" Smiling, he turned away from the TARDIS. "On the plus side, I don't think anyone's ever starved here- at least I don't think so."
