I love the maintenance guys at our apartment complex! I really, really dislike the office workers. It's the same four guys and gals who work there and they make up tons of different excuses to close the office completely and tend to close the office early several times a week. Not just oh, it's a quarter to six, let's beat traffic and leave kind of

Tell them they're douchecanoes when they aren't listening? Not much else other than that probably.. When I went in there this morning to get the package the secretary was sitting on her desk chatting to the other dude and they were so obviously -busy- that I didn't bother talking to them about the stinky dude across the hall or the guy in #99 who was playing his drumset until 2:30am the night before last. Asshole neighbors. I never complain about people to them so I was really looking forward to it!

I can whine, or call the head office of the folks who own our apartment complex again. They never called me back before when I was calling them, so I don't expect much unfortunately.

I went in this morning and got them and they had this small pile of different packages that had been delivered to the office and she fished through it for mine. Dude, really? If there are that many hanging out maybe call folks? Adam bought Rocko's Modern Life off of amazon and it didn't have tracking so we fussed and worried once it'd been 2 weeks since it'd shipped and we hadn't gotten it. Then when we went to the office to do something else they gave it to him. Wtf, jerks?!

But upside is that I just got the laundry out of the dryer and now have tons and tons of new cloth diapers for Deli to piss and shit on. Hurray!

Oh hey, we have this stack of things we don't know what to do with... how sad is it that we know exactly how to get in touch with the people to whom they belong, and if we really put about 20 good minutes into it, we could make sure that people would come claim this stuff.

Dude, seriously. We got calls from them when we had packages there a long time ago, but I guess they've stopped doing it? I was told that they were supposed to be calling to let us know we had packages there, too. So it's not like it never happens or it's a huge mystery..
When I went in there they weren't doing anything either- she was sitting on her desk chatting! And more often than not when I've gone in there they aren't actively working, just kind of pissing around talking to each other. Bunch of assholes.

The weird thing is that the maintenance guys are awesome! It's just some lazy twits at the office that have been the reason for any irritation so far. I don't understand it. I get that it's probably really boring to come in the same time all day every day, but randomly closing for non-bank holidays and stuff gets old. I can't remember for sure but I think last Valentines they took a half day, and took a few days off after New Year's Day.
