Thanks! That's the best of around six gazillion photos of snow trillium I took, lol - they were everywhere! And so so pretty!
The nicer the weather gets, the less actually park-walking time I usually have, between park stuff and wildlife babies, but things worked out pretty good on Friday! I need to do more park walking. Somehow. Hm. Maybe I can feed babies and hike at the same time? XD
Keens huh? ::pokes around:: Hmm! The Merrells I just got are super pretty but not cushy enough for work/walkies, so I'm after getting a different pair. ::side-eyes Keen:: :D And how on earth did you take that photo anyway???? Super flexible you! ;D
I'm not sure if they're cushier than Merrells or not - I remember trying some Merrells on a few years back and they just didn't fit my feet very well, but the Keens had these wide toes and didn't slide on my heel and arch support in all the right places!
The pair I ordered is a different style than what I had before, which I couldn't find anymore, and I'm not sure I'm entirely happy with them - sole is more flexible so it's actually pinching the top of my foot a little when I walk, and arch support doesn't seem as supporty. Still, my one foot with the plantar fasciitis acting up is feeling better despite a full day of hiking and galumphing up and down the concrete stairs at work the past two days, so I'm pleased with that! Hopefully the rest will get better as I break 'em in.
Front facing phone camera, looong forward lean :D
Yay hooray! I have frog spawn in my living room. The kitties are intrigued - the tads are just hatched and starting to wriggle.
Spring! lol I get excited even when it's somebody else's spring! Woot! Bring it on.
How'd you get all those animals to sit so sweetly and pose for you? (Especially that frog. He acts for all the world like you are just another rock he's sitting on.)
I love living in a place with seasons \o/ It's been warm and rainy for almost a week now - you can see the plants just sproinging out of the ground!
Pictures are deceiving! ^_~ That was third or fourth grab of the frog, and he jumped right out of my hand after that shot. The salamanders held pretty still though - after I rolled over their log or rock they just kind of freeze for awhile.
