World's Scariest Passport Photos

And no, I'm not scanning and showing - you will all just have to take my word that yes, they are that bad.

So no one anywhere in the world is allowed to smile in their passport photo if they want to enter the US? How utterly bee-zarre. I assume we're not allowed to smile in ours, either, then. Not that I've ever had a decent passport photo anyway, but I really don't need any more barriers to looking human.

Sadly, not entirely. I'm going for a company wide global legal meeting. But I will have a full two days before the meeting starts to do some sightseeing in Tokyo, so that will be fun. Mostly, I'm just excited, because I've never been to Japan and I'm sure it will be an amazing experience.

My pappport isn't so bad, but my latest ID for work is terrifyingly awful. I look trollish and bonkers at the same time.

Oh I read about that in the paper yesterday. I mean, people used to say things about passport photos, but I guess at least now we have an excuse for why they look bad.

I'm just lucky mine doesn't run out until 2011, shame though, my photo isn't actually that bad at the moment.
