If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
I'd let education be available to everyone. Everyone could go to college, everyone could go to high school, no matter what your financial status is.
Who is your favorite Hogwarts teacher?
I assume this means past teachers too, so I'll say Remus Lupin. He had such a way with the kids, and they actually learned stuff. He's one of those teachers you could have a normal conversation with.
Who is your favorite character in Harry Potter?
Tonks. She's really independent and funny. I like the fact that she could make herself the most beautiful woman on earth if she wanted, but instead she choses to have short, spiky pink hair. A close second is Hermione, probably because I have so much in common with her. Frizzy brown hair isn't a common trait among book heroines ;)
Who is your least favorite character in Harry Potter?
Dolores Umbridge. I can't stand closed mindedness. And that black quill of her's? *shudder*
What makes a person respectable?
I think it takes a mixture of things to make a person respectable. You have to be honest, for one - it's hard to respect someone who tells you lies. Another thing is intelligence; not just book-learned intelligence, but the type of intelligence that you'd expect a great-grandmother to have. Wisdom, I guess.
What is your take on religion?
I'm very religious. I grew up Catholic, both my parents are Catholic, almost all my extended family is religious, so I've never doubted it. If nothing else, I gives me hope, kind of like "Well, if this doesn't work out, theres always God." I don't agree with some of the church teachings, - like only Catholics are going to Heaven, for example - but for me, I'll always have my religion.
What do you think about house elves?
I think they should be be allowed to use their own brand of magic more often, but should otherwise be left alone. It's obvious they enjoy serving people, but I think they would enjoy using their magic to assist themselves.
What do you look for in a friend?
I look for friendliness, trustworthiness, and open-mindedness. Friendliness because, well, who wants a friend that's a jerk? Trustworthiness because I need to feel secure when confiding a secret, and open-mindedness because I can't stand ignorant and arrogant people.
Would you rather have friends and family or money and success?
Friends and family, defiantly. Money and success can only last so long, but friends and family are forever.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I'd make myself more competent in math. No, really, math's the only subject that keeping my off the all A honor roll at school, and that needs to remedied ;)
What do you feel is your best quality?
My love for reading. I don't know where I'd be if I didn't like reading.
What are your hobbies?
Singing, music in general, reading, writing, dancing, to name a few. Performing on Broadway is kind of my fantasy career :)
Do you want to have children?
Of course! I love little kids, I was a 'crew leader' for the pre-school kids at Vacation Bible School at church. I've also got a five-year-old brother, so I know about the bad stuff that comes with the good with babies ;)
Have or would you give time and money to a charity?
I don't give to charities as often as I would like. Most of the time I don't have enough money spare, but I hope that changes someday.
If your friend was attacked (by a person, animal, or (in the magic world) beast), what would you do?
I'd probably a have few minutes' panic attack, then run to get help even though I'd feel bad about leaving my friend alone when they're hurt.
What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish?
I'd like to write a novel someday. Which means I should probably be doing NaNoWriMo right now, but there's always next year ;)
Who is your role model?
My cousin Jessica (jatvandy). She's in her second year of college now, and I know she's going to accomplish something great one day.
What trait most annoys you about other people?
Ignorance. To shun something just because you don't want to believe it (a la Cornelius Fudge) makes you completely stupid on my list.
What do you want to do for a living?
Realistically, I want to be an editor, because I think it's the only career I could really count on. Writing is fine and dandy, but I can't see myself paying the bills with a writing career (let's just pretend that JK isn't a millionaire, shall we?). I also want to do something with music, but that's kinda shaky.
Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse for any reason?
Only if I was incredibly angry. I hate killing bugs, let alone people. Imperius might be fun for a minute, until you realize what kind of damage it could do to a person.

Slytherin. I'm not ambitious in the least. If something doesn't go my way, I just shrug and let it roll.
