At home on a Friday night...

Man, I was just wasting time by looking at a "you know you're from philadelphia when..." meme and was shocked at how many things were true on it and suprisingly regional. The one thing it did say was "you have the local pizza place on speed dial"...is this a strange thing to do? Do only people from Philly have the pizza place on speed dial? I do ( Read more... )

i dunno if it's JUST a philly thing or not, but i have pizza hut, famous georges and angelos all programmed into my phone...

definitely comes in handy if i'm out driving somewhere, and want pizza, i don't need to go home and get a menu with a number on it first...

For those of you who don't know, my sister Kelly is getting married in several years.

HAHAHAHAHA!

I framed a bunch of my smaller posters the other day, and my mom laughed at my attempt to move from the college dorm feeling to the college graduate feeling just by framing my posters.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Whenever my mom and sisters call my cell phone it's ring is a woman saying "A ho is calling".

You so crazy!

I mean, we never really had it before then either, but that hurt things. We definately weren't in the financial bracket that would allow my parents to buy me a completely unnecessary electric car.

HAHAHAHA! Your family's destitution is humorous to me.

I need ideas for Justin's birthday present. He'll be 24 on the 23rd.

So successful... at such a young age. Sigh.

Kate, the emotional palette with which you composed this entry ... it's just so rich and varied. What with the electric car and your father's heart attacks and the pizza speed dial. My god. Dare I proclaim it? The LJ ENTRY OF THE WEEK.

when i was a kid i wanted the barbie car power wheels. my parents always said it was too expensive and that i was too big (age and weight wise) to fit in one. It retrospect, i can't imagine what i would have done with it.
Pizza place on speed dial? That is insane. The fact that you would call a pizza place so frequently that it would be practical to have the number programed in? That's insane. I pass judgment on all of Philly.
