So, I took my old computer home, and got it fixed up. My friend reformatted it, and hooked me up with a wireless router. Yay! Not that I really needed internet, but I wanted it. Just so I have something to do at home

Have you tried looking for help at animal rescues and shelters?
Sometimes they have either programs to help you pay for animal care if you can't afford it or hook you up with low cost procedures with their own vets.

Didn't you comment a while back about that? I completely forgot about looking into it! I really should see if there's anything out there that could help. I love the vet I go to, but maybe calling around to see if there's a discount clinic isn't such a bad idea...
