Ray and I were watching James Ivory's The Europeans last night, and at one point, I almost fell off the sofa laughing. The film was made primarily in two historic homes in New Hampshire. BTW, earlier in the day I was completely engrossed in Shirin, a film from 2008. I wonder if you've heard of it. It's an unusual film, to say the least, and language plays a huge role in it.
