Dylan read it, and liked it quite a lot, if I recall.

Coolios. It's been on my to-read list since it was published. One of my goals for the year is to finally some of the most long-standing titles.

Salt is wonderful! I'm a fan of Kurlansky, but nothing else he's written has enthralled me quite so much as that one.

The local library has quite a few of his titles. If I like Salt are there any others you particularly recommend?

I really enjoyed The Big Oyster. And Food of a Younger Land is a must, though it's a collection of others' writing, curated and commentated by him.

Why does the library shelve poetry as nonfiction? Also just added 3 titles toward next year's list.
