I had an idea the other day. Since typing "weepy emo crap" into iTunes will return a result list consisting of me, and I have indeed written a fair number of weepy emo crappy songs, perhaps I should put them on an album entitled Weepy Emo Crap. So yesterday I received the new remaster version of Laurie Anderson's Big Science (many much thanks to adam22772). So that leaves me with two copies (this and the old original CD master). Review of the new Of Montreal album:

I am amazed at how thoroughly uninteresting this album is.

As I do every year, I told adam22772 that I would like to get an album together and have him do post-production work on it. This led to a discussion of my album/project ADD and a realization that the musical challenges I take on (50 Song Challenge, Album-A-Day) reward and encourage a short attention span. Apart from knowing these guys, I am really starting to think that Agony Through Ceremony could be a contender for Album Of The Year (that is, of course, if such nominations were based on merit).
