Lol! I feel your partner made a wise strategic decision there to appreciate what he was given *g*
Ugh, stupid people not fixing your dishwasher, it is so annoying what something like that happens. I suggest you make a nuisance of yourself and start calling every hour until someone shows up.
I'm so behind on Glee so I have no idea what you're talking about but it doesn't sound good. In general though I'm the same: I see all the things wrong with it but... singing! and dancing! I just treat it much like junk food; not much nutritional value but so good nevertheless.
The guy came Friday at 9:30 and apologized for arriving so early, but when he saw our names, he pushed us to the top of his list. Which means that the management hadn't given him the information. -.-
You're not missing much when it comes to Glee. It's kinda stopped being fun. This episode was drama after drama after drama. With happy songs thrown in. The show is starting to be constant mood whiplash. And the writers have admitted to looking at what the fandom is saying they want. Which I feel isn't smart. If you write good stories with well-developed characters, then the fandom will come. By following their whims, it's resulting in characters being a bit schizophrenic. And Tina hasn't had a spoken line in the last four episodes!
I'm still watching because I remember the good days.
Ugh that does not sound good on Glee. Tina is one of my favourite characters and for a while there I was happy she and Mike were getting some actual character development and plot lines but... Bah.
I am insanely happy about it. Especially since we can't wash dishes in our sink because the sprayer thing that's useful for getting food of doesn't work.
Mike and Tina got a duet on Valentine's Day. And that's the first thing they had done since before the Christmas break. (Mike occasionally gets dance solos.) And they've not really done anything since then. Tina actually missed a couple of episodes and nobody mentioned it.
Supposedly, Tina is going to have a bigger role next season. But I miss the first part of the first season where she was one of the main characters.
I also miss bitchy teenager Kurt. This weird "Magic Gay" wise-beyond-his-years Kurt is totally a result of fandom. And I don't like it. Though, I do enjoy new, less evil Sue. She's still Sue, but she's not actively evil anymore.
I like that. I think I'm going to call myself a cheap food ninja chef from now on. :-)
The partner is such a prima donna about food. He cooked last night and was like "Do you think this $12 bottle of wine is good to cook with?" I was just dumbfounded that he would use $12 wine for anything other than a special occasion. But I told him "If you'd drink it, you can cook with it." And he said, "I'll drink $3 wine but I'd never cook with it!" It works out for me because I'm not buying his food and he cooks well, but sometimes I just have to shake my head.
