Now seems the appropriate time to mention that when Rose and the Doctor were finally reunited at the end of "Dalek," they didn't hug. That seemed weird to me. Wasn't it weird?
Ah, but they DID. It just got cut. Possibly for being a bit too desperate on the Doctor's side?
Over many LJ comments it has been suggested to me that there was a hug that was just cut, but I never found footage of it, so I just left it alone. Thank you. THANK YOU.
Possibly. But desperate was what Nine was all about. And he HAD just been through a whole oh-my-God-Daleks-still-exist-and-Rose-is-dead thing. Would add a little stress to anyone's day.
