OpenOffice 2.0 unleashed

OpenOffice.org is a multi-platform and multilingual office suite and an open-source software project. It is compatible with all other major office suites, is free to download, use, and distribute. This evening I downloaded the newly released OpenOffice.org (version 2.0.0 RC).

I got it running with a quiet install using the command line install

Am very excited by this development. Especially pleased to see that it might provide the khmer solution you were looking for! Perhaps your kids will be able to contribute to the khmer development effort.

Gosh, I didnt think of that .. not such a silly idea. They could even help with some of the Khmer work required by Moodle. Hmmm
