A brief reflection

First of all, thankyou to anyone who prayed for me over the past week re my night shifts and the 'scary' consultant. The 7 nights were the most chilled nights I've ever had!!!! The first night and the last were the busiest, and even then, only till ~ 3am. The other ones were so chilled, I was reading a novel (The Silmarillion) during them ( Read more... )

What a blessing that it went so well for you! It does sound like God has indeed been very good to you.:)

So you were able to read The Silmarillion while you were at work? How do you like it?

What are you going to do for your 10th Anniversary of leaving Nigeria? It is interesting to think what the next 10 years will bring.

Re The Silmarillion, I'm halfway through, and I like it. I like the style and depth of feeling/expression in the writings....not shallow themes, but very thought-provoking. Also quite moving too.....yup, I like :-)

Today, I'm gonna have some time alone to reflect and give thanks, then have a 'party' later.....which should be interesting!
