I've had my Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop for almost four years and have had no real problems with it-- well except when my bunny bites through the wires. But that usually happens when my sister 'borrows' it. She more or less owns the bloody thing now, even though I'm the one who pays the maintenance for it. lol.

I've never had a Mac, but I have used one and hated every moment of it. My friend who is a photographer and whom I had a photoshoot with (OMG I can't believe I actually did that lol) told me I should get a Mac like she had, even when she saw my kickass desktop and was impressed by it :D Pah! No way. I'm sticking to the kickass desktop.

If you think your bedroom's a trash heap, mine is probably even worse. I sleep on the floor (I like it and it's also for religious purposes) and I have a shitload of trash and hordes of paper scattered across my floor, which are usually the remnants of writing stuffs I'm currently working on. Yeaaaah. Nice. Everything else is still in cardboard boxes and reasonably packed up.

I have an Inspiron 1420, and it has been trouble since day one. I had a Dell laptop prior to this, that last three years before the power adapter port/color tube stopped working properly. Then, the casing started coming apart. We took a baseball bat to it after that.

I used Macs when I worked at the newspaper. Once you get used to them, they are incredibly easy to use, and in some ways, make more practical sense to me than a PC.

Teehee. OK -- so, mine's not that bad, but it isn't pretty either. ;)
