Her eyes were now bugged out of her sockets and stared at her former leader trying to asses what exactly was going on. Of course she knew he was drunk there was no lying about that. She could think of all the possible terms to come up with that could describe his state, but she was coming up empty. Plus words tend to not be useful when you are literally stunned speechless.

The way he spoke was very very un-Lelouch, the situation was very un-Lelouch. He walked sluggishly almost like his body didn't want to walk. If she didn't know any better she would think she would be seeing things. It was when he held out his hand that she she began to come back to reality. She stared at his hand and then back at him, she tried to speak but her mouth open and closed

Once again, Lelouch’s face scrunched up into a wince, a single eye squeezing shut as he remained still for Rolo to inspected the injury with his fingers, which, despite them touching a rather tender area, were pleasantly cool. The elder of the two very soon decided he’d like to feel more.

Leaning his head forward, he readjusted the position of Rolo’s hand himself until he could lean comfortably into it without any intensified pain, now sliding his other eye closed and looking serene, as if he were resting atop a most heavenly pillow. Only when his comfort levels were somewhat back to his liking did he deign a response and drop his own hand to his side.

“S’nothing. ...be fine...” he mumbled choppily, “Guess...we better wait.”

Rolo had the distinct feeling that Lelouch was not fine, but did not press the subject further. Instead, he kept his hand where he had placed it, gently thumbing over Lelouch's bruised skin. "When we get back, I'll take care of you, Brother," he murmured. "I'll definitely make sure you'll be ok."

Without moving his hand, Rolo turned to look around them. He had to keep an eye out for Kururugi Suzaku. When the Knight of Seven appeared, he would have to keep up the appearance of both being Lelouch's doting younger brother and also a subordinate of Suzaku. Hopefully, Lelouch would not do or say anything that would give his position away.
