Well, a thing to remember about the Eeveelu ippai especially... They are gashapon, and sometimes pokemon gashapons CAN be sold in other asian countries. So it isn't really unusual to see Taiwan, China, etc with them for sale. And they should be legit. But I am always cautious about China no matter what, so I always go to Taiwan sellers over Chinese if I can't find a Japan seller.
So I would say, from your photos and them coming with the stickers, you have legit Eeveelu ippai.
Now the Zukan, I can't speak for really. I believe they also were gashapon type of figures?? So it's possible for them to come from other country sellers, but again, not too sure on that.
For Gashapon items, I would say they are ok to go through. I have been buying a lot of gashapon for a few years now from a Taiwan seller on ebay.
Now plush, I can't say for sure, unless they are a private seller (like say it's someone like us selling their collection and doesn't have 10+ inventory). As long as they don't have a large quantity, they should be ok to buy a plush from. At least that has been my experience ^_^
For the most part, plush is real easy. As long as it's not from China/Hong Kong/New york New york (its usually a chinese seller claiming they are a USA seller). Again, check the quantity and if it looks derpy is a good indicator of booty haha
Sometimes though bootys aren't terrible and can actually be pretty well made (like the oly factory plush are sometimes fairly nice)
Yeah this bootlegs aren't too bad actually, but you know the drill haha. Also I don't want to buy bootlegs by accident, IF I do buy bootlegs, that will only because I wanted and decided on purpose to buy the bootleg, not because of accident or scam.
I'm not very knowledgeable about zukan, but I do know that some come with peg holes even if they don't have pegs. The Raikou zukan I just got has holes in its base too, and it's consistent with photos I've seen in other peoples' collections. Hope this helps c:
i think XY zukan have some notoriously bad paint jobs, my chespin zukan doesn't look great either. =/ it also doesn't have any stamps on it, so i think that's pretty normal for this series.
I see, I guess I will just need to bear it then haha. To be fair they are really small so painting mistakes are to be expected, though I hope Quilladin can have a better paint job, man this will only make my OCD act up again.
There's no need to worry about the zukans, most zukans prior to black and white had bases with holes in them, even if they didn't need them. I've owned several swinub/piloswine zukans and they've all been that way. Mamoswine has large noticeable seams because he comes in two parts, when it was new in it's capsule it's body is in two parts and the tusk's are not attached. Mamoswine has a stamp on his belly because he was a large figure that didn't come with a base (he was sold separately from swinub and piloswine in a different capsule) they only have stamps on the figures if they do not have a base which is why the others that come with bases are not stamped.
That's a really detailed and informative analysis! Thank you!
Now I can rest easy. ^^
... Wait did you just said Mamoswine was sold separately? Does that mean we have to take at least two random chances to get the whole set?? How hard to get this figure exactly??? D:
My pleasure! I used to have a very large zukan collection so I learned a few things from it ^^ Yep because mamoswine is so large it got it's own capsule! It would have been one of the heaviest in that particular set though so it probably wouldn't have been too hard to work out which capsule to buy.
That's a nice trick, but isn't the official way to get zukan is through a gacha machine which spits out random capsule? In that case I figured it will be quite hard to complete the set. D:
I've collected zukans for a decade or so, and as far as I can tell, these are legit. Up to a bit past the beginning of the BW zukans, they all had 2 holes in the bases, or 3 holes if it was one of those elongated bases. (Ignoring the special diorama bases of course). Then after I think BW set 2, they started using plastic holders, as well as holes. XY doesn't have holes at all, and only uses plastic holders. (very annoying if you want to pick one up, as everything falls off :p) Very big zukans, like Mamoswine, and Groudon etc didn't have any base, and thus their info needed to be printed straight onto the figure itself, usually the underside to hide it from sight.

Is Taiwan reputable? Because I always thought they are in the same black list as China and Hong Kong
Phew that's good to hear, I guess I really am paranoid, I can imagine how paranoid I will be when I started collecting plushes here and there haha.

yeah the holders are a pain especially for smaller figures, which make me think to glue them using removable tacs hahaha
Anyway now I'm 100% certain of theie legitimacy, thank you!
