So I've been playing through alot of DS games lately... The big one I want to mention is Yoshi's Island DS. That game is freaking GOD... Its like an actual true sequel the original. If you haven't tried it yet, do at least use wifime (or wmb, whatever you choose) and send a demo to yourself so you can try it. One of the best platformers EVER ( Read more... )

Cooking Mama: That's Funny, general consensus is that the DS version is better because of tactile feedback, vs. the incredibly inaccurate Wiimote... and the simple fact that Cooking Mama DS is $20 opposed to the Wii's $50 price tag.

Lunar Dragon Song: I bought that.... and I dunno, it's poor translation seemed like the least of it's problems.

Yeah, the Wii version doesn't "feel" like a bunch of pointless repetitive motions, even if the wii remote was a little worse at detecting the motions. Idont think the Wii version is worth 50 bucks, hence why I didn't buy it, but I think it feels much more complete than the DS version.

Lunar, well, yeah, wtf is this, sorry only exp or items, it was like a way for them to double the grind, as if there wasn't enough grind in there anyway. Thing was there was a point that I actually couldn't figure out what to do next because the translation was sooo bad. I almost threw it against the wall. From what I was able to tell, the story was kind of decent, I didn't get far before I stopped though. I can't believe that got higher than a 4 on ANYTHING... But you have to admit, the 2D sprites rotating like that in battle, it was pretty cool, alot like ragnarok online :P
