I am writing to you because I (we) need your help. Every year my fraternity participates in the Relay for Life event, put on by the American Cancer Society, at our school. This is an event where teams raise money for cancer research and then for 24 hours, the team members take turns walking around our UCF track.

I'm sitting here in the holding tent as usual. Got here around 5am. We had a call time of 4am. I haven't been feeling very well lately. Probably b/c of the lack of sleep and the long hours at work, and possibly b/c of hte smoke they use to setup the shot. Oh well ( Read more... )

So it's finally Sunday! We've all been working soo much this week. Working 6 days in a row, with each being about 13-5 hr days is a long-ass week! But it looks as if we have the next 2-3 days off, Tuesday is still unsure, but today and tomorrow (President's Day) we have off. Nothing but relaing, working out, volleyball and basketball for me. I've been working the past few days. We've been out on the sea on one of the ships and it's been pretty nice. The first day on board was really cold, but the past two days the weather has been decent. The only thing that sucks is that our call times have been really early in the morning, around 5 or 5:30am.
