Back to soup!
New phone means I can post about soup as I make it. Clarke surprised me with a big stock pot for Christmas... This means more soup at one time. Tonights soup is simmering for a few more minutes. It is a potato and ham chowder made from the leftovers from Christmas dinner.

So Busy
We've been crazy busy in this house. The weekends have been full of neices, nephews and mad Christmas preparations. We are short a weekend this year because my parents are moving next weekend and we have to keep the schedule free to help ( Read more... ) -

A Pot of Soup
I'm working hard to stretch our "food dollars" this year, I didn't do any grocery shopping over the weekend. I dedicated the time, instead, to figuring a way to use up what we have in the freezer and the basement pantry shelves in creative ways for the week.
