This was excellent.

I enjoy the way, even someone mentioned, like Tanishi, only for a moment, is so well characterized. The picture is always full. That's wonderful.

It didn't feel like any time was passing when I wrote this. So much of this story has been taking up space in my head - it was good to get it out. I'm so glad you liked it - I'm nervous about it sometimes.

Tanishi was great big greasy fun. :D

I wouldn't be nervous. You take the same attention and skill with every story you write and with all your characters. You put work into everything and it shows. Anytime this doesn't happen, it's apparent I think from the reader's point of view, but most people are willing to forgive, you know how fans are. XD

However, it doesn't happen often. Which is great-o!

I experiment quite a bit with fanfiction writing. Sometimes it's really obvious, sometimes not so much. What kills me is when something I put zero time and effort into gets more positive attention than something that's actually good. It's confusing to me.
