8625 is the number of miles I've traveled in the name of geocaching over the past 2 years. I bet I break 10k miles before May. Not only did I get my 140th cache today, I also claimed a first to find :).

So, I got bored tonight and did a family tree for the hell of it. On a couple of lines, I was able to trace it back to the 1560's before hitting a dead end. Not so with my great grandmother Iona. Life has been... busy.. since I got back from Dallas. Work, work, work, get 37 boxes up to the third floor, unpack boxes, organize it and all that other fun stuff that goes along with moving. I'm down to about 5 or 6 boxes left to unpack, but it's mostly nonessential stuff. It'll probably sit in my closet until I seriously look into getting a puppy ( Read more... )

So, Clayton and I went walking a little earlier this evening, and I found a tennis court that's within walking distance! I know what I'm doing tomorrow *evil grin*.

So.. we've been in the new house for a bit over a week now. Boxes are mostly unpacked and things are migrating to a more permanent place. All of the major furniture has been picked out and is mostly here. We're probably waiting a month on the dining room set and most likely a week or so on the coffee table and end tables.
